Permaculture Intentional Neighborhood Opportunity

at the Caine Domain, 4519 East 43rd Ave, Spokane

It’s on an acre on the upper south hill, already planted with producing fruit and nut trees, 900 SF garden and landscaped with edible and medicinal herbs and perennials. All plants and trees have irrigation to them. Views are of Brown’s Mountain and Glenrose; strategically placed trees block views of neighbors.  The infrastructure is all there.

What’s missing? You or someone you know. Our vision: a small intentional neighborhood (PUD if you will) with shared common space for recreation and food production. The land is sub dividable with room for two more homes. We are looking for like minded people who would like to build here and share resources and bounty.

The June 16th 2:00 p.m. Permaculture Study Group meeting will be held onsite and there will be a brief presentation, plus plenty of time for tours and connection after the meeting. Please join us at the Caine Domain at 4519 East 43rd Ave. You can only get to this strip of 43rd from Havana St, turn east at Ben Burr Park. Look for the only red brick house on your left.

Once the weather warms up, Chandra and Harvey would like to have us over for a potluck, see the site and help them get the word out. Please suggest days that would work for you at the end of June and in the month of July, we can choose up a day that will work for the most people.

Warm regards, Phil
