Sponsors Invited!

The 2013 Inland Northwest Permaculture Convergence

The 2013 Inland Northwest Permaculture Convergence (which is organized by the Inland Northwest Permaculture Guild) will be held at the MiVoden Retreat Center on Hayden Lake, Idaho September 13 - 15. If you would like to join a vibrant and growing community of Convergence Sponsors, please visit the Inland Northwest Permaculture Guild's website. There you can find out the benefits of becoming a Convergence Sponsor (besides the warm, fuzzy feeling you will have) and you can also donate your sponsorship funds, from $150 to $750, on-line.

This year’s Convergence will be different than past Inland Northwest Permaculture conferences, which were held respectively in Spokane and Missoula. The first two conferences focused on education, workshops and presentations for permaculturists and the general public. For 2013, the gathering will be a convergence of people who are already into permaculture and there will be more information on movement building such as permaculture education, permaculture consulting, networking, how to set up and run local groups, etc.  There will also be how-to workshops with practical information. We would love to see people do demonstrations and hands-on activities. The convergence is for people who have completed permaculture design courses as well as people who are excited about permaculture. Permaculture people from around the Inland Northwest are invited.  Idaho, Montana, eastern Washington, eastern Oregon, and southern interior British Columbia.

One big change in 2013 is that everyone will be able to stay on site so that there is more time for interaction. The rural camp is close to nature and we get to go swimming, take plant walks, etc.
