Northeastern Washington Livestock and Forage Extension Program

Stakeholder Input Meeting

October 9, 2013

Washington State University Extension in partnership with county governments is preparing

a plan to employ a Regional Extension Specialist in Livestock and Forage Production to serve

Northeastern Washington.  This plan will fill the position formerly held by Tom Platt who

recently retired after a long and successful career.  An important part of this process is an

informational meeting for stakeholders and the general public to discuss the plan and accept

stakeholder input on issues and needs associated with this position. This input will help frame

key areas of focus for the position, and meeting details are as follows:
