Monthly Work & Share Party- March 23rd

Event date: 3/23/2014 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Export event

This Sunday event has volunteer hands on help, time for talking and sharing and eating-the best of all worlds!

So the hands on project will be helping us put the plastic up on our greenhouse and some low hoops. There will also be time for talking and sharing and of course eating. We will make a pot of Ratatouille (meatless and wheatless) so anything to go with that is welcomed.

I should remind folks if you don't want to do the hands on part you are very welcomed to walk in the woods, sleep under a tree (it is supposed to be nice!), go inside and drink tea-whatever you like. I know from experience that most of the worker types also do well with many supervisors! So don't hesitate to come if you want to just hang out.

I had this posted earlier, but I no longer see it, and it didn't show on the calender so I am trying again. (In case you did see it and wonder why it shows up again).

Address: Footehills Farm, 7915 E Cooper Ln Colbert

See you Sunday!!

Hi Torie, I'm looking forward to your event! And the weather being nice is a total bonus. Your original post is still out there where you originally posted it – in the forum. The forum posts don’t show up on the calendar, since they’re events for the subgroup. Also, don't forget that we need to also carve out time for an actual meeting (to keep to the actual purpose of the group, lol) as well as service & eating. I'd like to see us do that before we eat, so it doesn't get lost. Thoughts about that from anyone else?

Hello Torie and everyone else! Shannon and I can't be there today despite our want to see everyone again and help out. Seeing your place in a new season is something we were looking forward to. We had some last minute junk on Friday to take care of that put Friday's work out to today. Have a great time, I know you will, and we'll see you next time. :-)

What a wonderful day. Nice weather, wonderful people. We are beginning to see a community growing around permaculture in the homestead. I can't wait for the next meeting.

Torie, I'm sorry I couldn't make it to your event. I was driving home from Sacramento...but hopefully we will be able to make more of the meetings now that the hubby is home.
